Welcome to the Fitness Centre newsletter at the UEA Sportspark. We aim to keep you fully updated with 'whats on' in our Fitness Centre and to also ensure you get the most out of your workouts with us.



Our Sports Science degree qualified staff are always on hand to give you advice and motivation. We really want to see you do well and feel good!

As many of you know the Fitness Centre at the Sportspark offers great value for money compared to many other facilities around the City. We aim to offer a good range of equipment with highly qualified staff there to assist if needed, to ensure we provide the best fitness package going.

Our programmes are designed to ensure you get the best results possible from your time at the gym, with free of charge re-programmes offered once you have completed one.

If you feel that you need just some basic advice on starting or putting together an exercise plan, just ask one of the advisors. We will be glad to spend 10 to 15 minutes with you, to help where we can.

Using the Fitness Centre should be great for your health and fitness and should also be a fun and enjoyable experience. We want you to achieve good results, so make sure you use us to your full advantage.


Fitness Centre Services

We offer a full range of services to help you along the way to improved health and fitness:-
  • Basic programme
  • Fitness programme
  • Health programme
  • Combined programme
  • One to One training (1hr personal training sessions)
  • Weightwise (weight management programme)
  • Circuit training (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Bootcamp (Friday)
  • Fitness In Later Life for 50+ (Tuesday and Thursday).

    All the sessions above are led by our fitness advisors. Please ask at the reception for more details or talk directly to our gym staff.

    On the Pulse
    'On The Pulse'
    Every month we produce an internal fitness newsletter for our users to take called 'On the Pulse'. We offer upto date fitness advice and hot topics for you to read and enjoy. Common topics will be Workout of the Month, Fitness Myths, Dietary Advice, Injury Management advice, etc.
