"The UEA Sportspark have supported us in many events from black belt testing’s and seminars to one of our biggest events of the year which is our European tournament. This particular event comprises of more than 800 competitors with over 2,000 spectators. The facilities and staff are well equipped to deal with this.
We have always found the staff to be professional, courteous and helpful. The facilities are always of a high standard and there is ample car parking across the site. We wish to continue to use this outstanding facility to hold future events and tournaments.
Overall a highly recommended professional sports facility."

"The concept of the Norfolk School Games finals is to give young people a memorable and exciting competitive sporting experience. The event builds on the Olympic Games as a multi-sport showcase event. The Sportspark is the perfect setting for this, with the wide range of facilities and the impressive scale of the venue it ensures that our events are memorable for the young people and helps to raise their aspirations.
Sportspark's sponsorship of the Norfolk School Games helps us as organisers to grow the games further and ensure as many young people are engaged as possible."

"I just wanted to say thanks for the way that everything has been set up for the NVA bookings recently. The courts have all been done on time, nets at the right height and the tables and scoreboards are all out ready.
Both the Friday night bookings and the regional tournaments have run smoothly so far, in no small part to the facilities and set up at the Sportspark."

"During the Active Norfolk event season we spend a lot of time at Sportspark. From the initial query all the way through the delivery of an event I have nothing but praise for all the staff. The events team are extremely efficient, approachable and a pleasure to work with. On the day of bookings we have always received an excellent service and day staff are always on hand to help if we need anything. The facilities at Sportspark are excellent and always found in great condition. We are very lucky to have a facility of this level on our doorstep and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them both in a professional events capacity and also as someone who loves a game of badminton tennis or squash in their spare time."

I signed up for Rob Rout’s Cycling Performance Course, as I want to enter the ‘Norwich 50’ for the first time this year when I will be 64 and not really knowing what to expect. The course is very well structured and Rob gives a full and detailed explanation of what we are going to be doing each week as we are doing our ’warm up’. We were each given a set of exercises to do in the gym to improve our overall strength and fitness levels as well and I’ve found these have been extremely beneficial over the last few months.
The initial phase of the course finished at the beginning at the beginning of December and with the next phase not starting until January, once again we were given ‘homework’ to be completed over the Xmas period, so that we would maintain the levels of fitness we’d achieved.
I occasionally cycle to and from the city (a distance of 5 miles) and i find i can stay in a higher gear for much longer than I used to and I'm enjoying my cycling more. I'll certainly continue to use some of the routines that Rob has taught/will teach us over the next 4 weeks and incorporate them into my gym workouts to give me more variety!
He is an excellent motivator and has pushed me to levels I wouldn't have believed I could attain.

I am a GP. On Wednesday 20th January I was just leaving the Sportspark when a young man collapsed in the entrance doorway and started to have a seizure. I was on the scene about a minute after this happened and already Hannah (Senior Customer Service Advisor) was at the man's head and had ensured he was in the recovery position. Over the next 50 minutes whilst I was in attendance, Hannah remained with the young man. She was calm and clearly confident in first aid. When he came around from the seizure, she was very reassuring and kind. I was very impressed by her behaviour throughout. I was also very impressed with the whole staff team that assisted in the incident. The Duty Manager, Anna, dealt with the situation expertly and a male member of staff (Matt) who stood outside in the freezing cold, redirecting people around the collapsed man, both deserve a special mention too. If my reception team at my practice handled a similar situation as well as the Sportspark team did, I would be delighted.

Best sports facility in Norwich, 5 of 5 stars
I use the Sportspark at least once, often two or three times a week either in the pool, in the gym or doing karate. The facilities are absolutely first-class. It sometimes gets a bit busy, especially when the students come into the gym en mass off peak and behave in studenty ways, but even then it's not too bad. A superb place.
Last night after my boxercise class I discovered I had lost my wedding ring. In 17 and a half years of marriage it has never fallen off - must have come off when I removed the gloves. I went back in to the studio and a Sportspark employee called Katie was tidying up. I asked if I could look through the gloves and pads for my ring. Katie couldn't have been more helpful or caring. Not only did she look through all the left handed gloves and all the sweaty pads with me twice, she looked everywhere in the Studio and upstairs and eventually found the ring which had rolled under some speakers. Throughout, Katie was really concerned and showed great empathy - I was calm on the surface (I think) but underneath really upset about losing the ring. Katie did not rush and would have kept searching all night I think if she could. Afterwards she kindly let me into my next class - I had warned the instructor I may be late or have to miss it due to needing to find my ring. Again Katie didn't need to do this, but she really cared enough about me being able to do my next class too. I'd like to say a huge , huge thank you to Katie from my wife and I - I would have been devastated not to have found my ring and wouldn't have found it with her. Thank you.
I really like the BodyBalance class on Wednesday. The trainer Leanne was really good. I was new to the class but she talked me through the exercise options of beginners.
The Fitness in Later Life HILL exercise and stretching class (Rachael), was one of the best warm-ups I have had at Sportspark. The teacher was clear and anyone would benefit from such a class, regardless of age. I thoroughly recommend the teacher.
Swimfit classes are brilliant. It's so much better now that there are 3 lanes - it means that every ability can achieve more from it. Both Natalie and Tom are excellent coaches. I've improved so much with their help. Thank you.
