The Barclays Arena is 54 metres long, 33 metres wide and gives 9 metres of clear height, making it ideal for all indoor sports. It is a flexible space that can be divided into two, three or four separate areas if the full length is not required. There is seating for 750 spectators in three sections. The electrically operated seating can be extended and retracted to meet different requirements. Electronic scoring is available. The arena has high performance sprung wooden floor.

The arena can accommodate the following sports:

• 12 Badminton Courts
• 4 Volleyball courts (plus a central show court)
• 3 Basketball courts
• 1 International Korfball court (or 3 tournament courts)
• 3 5 aside football courts
• 3 Netball courts (plus a central show court)
• 3 cricket nets
