      The times below are the general opening hours for each area. For more specific times and availability for particular activities please refer to the relevant pages. Please also refer note that our Christmas/New Year opening hours are slightly different and full details can be found at the bottom of this section.

      Sportspark opens at normal times during bank holidays.

Gymnastics

Come and try gymnastics at Sportspark, we have sessions for all ages. Drop in sessions for pre-school which is a great way to have fun with your child and when they are ready to learn some gymnastic with have structured sessions from pre-school until they turn 16. The empathies in all our sessions is to have fun while working through the British gymnastic badge system. The gymnastic centre is great place to hold a birthday party and we can cater for up 32 per-school children.

Soccerpark

The Sportspark has 7 3G pitches with our 7 a-side pitches being recently re-carpeted. Choose form 5 a-side or 7 a side and have a kick around with some friends or work colleagues, blocking booking available if you want to make it a regular game each week or the Norfolk FA run competitive leagues if you wish take it more seriously.

Climbing Wall

The feature wall at Sportspark is a great place to learn how to climb as well as hone your skills and learn to lead climb. Situated in the heart of the Sportspark the wall is 11m high with 16 lines with routes ranging from 5-7. The features give the wall and more realistic look and feel.  We offer session from 8 years and beyond from beginners and experienced.

Sportscafe

Sportscafé serves a great selection of hot and cold meals throughout the day including salads, burgers, paninis, curries, jacket potatoes, stir-fries and a children's menu. We have an excellent range of takeaway drinks, sandwiches and hot food - most of our menu items can be bought to takeaway if you have to run. Booking

- We run courses in Climbing or Gymnastics all year round. To book on to one of our courses please fill out a booking form and return it to reception at any time with payment.

- Drop in sessions are also available in the Spring Gymnastics Centre and these can be booked up to 10 days in advance over the phone, in person or online. Some of the sessions are popular and booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

- To climb unsupervised an assessment is needed which can be booked at reception, if you are new to Climbing we suggest completing a beginner course before attempting the assesment.

- Pitches on our Soccerpark are available to be booked via reception, if you are interested in block booking a pitch you can email events.sportspark@uea.ac.uk
