Please also refer note that our Christmas/New Year opening hours are slightly different and full details can be found at the bottom of this section.

Sportscamps - Multi-Activity Camps - School Holidays

Busy parent? Planning ahead and looking for a school holiday programme that will keep your youngsters entertained and active? Sportspark’s Sportscamps offer you the perfect solution!

Sportspark run weekly multi-activity camps for children aged between 5 and 13 years old. Our Sportscamps run during all school holiday periods - including half-terms -  and offer a wide variety of activities including archery, climbing, swimming, football, tennis, fitness, badminton, Korfball, crafts, basketball. Please remember to bring your swimming kit each day.

We offer a standard day (08:30-15:30) or extended day (08:00-18:00) package and all Sportcamp prices include a packed lunch.

Our Sportscamps are an ideal way for children to get active and make friends! They also offer working parents peace of mind in the knowledge that their children are being entertained, stimulated and encouraged to participate in a range of activities, in a safe and fun environment.

With a fun-packed programme incorporating a range of sports, activities, crafts, competitions and themes, our Sportscamps offer the ideal solution to keep your family active and entertained over the holidays.

Sports Courses

Ever fancied learning a new sport or getting back into sport?

If so our range of courses, led by qualified instructors, will help you get started or improve your skills.  

We offer 6-week courses in a range of activities and sports including gymnastics, archery, swimming, climbing and badminton, and our next courses commence on the following dates:

These courses start week commencing 29th October 2018. All courses are bookable at Reception from 26th September, just complete a booking form and bring payment with you.

Please note, for 5 week terms, the course price will be prorated accordingly. These prices are correct as at 1st September 2017 (prices published in printed brochures prior to 1st September 2017 may not be correct).

ACCESS CARDS FOR JUNIOR COURSES
Please note, for all junior courses, the course price include 2 x Sportspark free access cards.  These are made available to allow parents/guardians to drop off and pick up children without having to pay the standard Sportspark 60p entrance fee. Free access cards will need to be scanned at the entry turnstiles on each visit to Sportspark. Failure to do so will result in the standard entry fee being charged. Please note that there is a replacement charge of £3.00 for any lost cards.

Please also note that as per Sportspark's terms and conditions of use, all children under the age of 12 years attending any courses should be handed over/collected from teaching staff by a parent or guardian aged 16+, and not left unsupervised at the teaching venue.

 

SPRING Gymnastics Courses

We offer a fantastic programme of 6 week and term-length (12-14 weeks) gymnastics courses. Please visit our SPRING Gymnastics webpage for further details on our courses and drop-ins including beginners, improvers and tumbling and freestyle gymnastics.

Star Track Athletics

Startrack Athletics is based on running, jumping and throwing in a friendly and warm environment, and is open to girls and boys of all abilities aged between 6 and 15 years old. It’s your chance to experience all athletics events within fun and team-based activities. All equipment is provided, though participants should bring packed lunches, drinks, sunscreen and suitable clothing for the weather. The sessions are led by qualified athletics coaches.

Cost: 1 day £25 or 2 days £40. Both of these costs include a FREE Sportspark Junior Membership for 1 year (normally £10).

Mini-Medics

 

Mini Medics Course

This is a fun, one off introduction to First Aid and defibrillation.
The session will be interactive and is for children between the ages of 8 and 12.
The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies and shows complete respect for the child’s ability, making it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.

Course includes a workbook and pen.
Children's University recognises this course.

For all Sportcamps, courses or tasters, please check the course dates and  enrolment/bookable from date, then complete a fill in a Sportspark Booking Form and return to Sportspark’s reception together with full payment or send to.

Sportspark is proud be an official Norfolk Children's University Learning Destination and supports the Passport To Learning scheme.

Sportspark issues Passport To Learning stamps for successful completion of our 6 week Sports Courses (i.e. climbing, Fit Kidz, squash), Gymnastics Courses and Learn To Swim Programme. (Please note that tasters and drop-in sessions do not count towards the Passport To Learning scheme).
