Work Starts On Additional Sportshall 29/04/2008
Construction has started on a new £3.8 million extension to the Sportspark, funded by the University, with completion due in February 2009. This will make the Sportspark probably the largest community sports facility in Britain!

Do You Want To Become A Lifeguard??? 14/04/2008
Sportspark is hosting a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification for people to become lifeguard qualified.
The course is running on the following dates (0900 to 1700):-
Thursday 24th July
Friday 25th July
Monday 28th July
Tuesday 29th July
Wednesday 30th July
Thursday 31st July
Assessment Thursday 31st July
Course cost is £200.00 (incl 6 days tuition, course manual and assessment fees).

Ladies - have a go at Jogging!!! 04/04/2008
Sportspark has started a new ladies jogging club on Wednesdays at 1pm. The club runs every Wednesday for ladies who have the ability to jog recreationally already, however there are specific dates that we will focus on complete beginners. For more information please download the poster here.
