Pilates


Pilates is offered as part of our 6-week block courses – see Activity Courses for our latest bookable course available.


Pilates / What
Pilates is an awareness of your own body through Relaxation, Breathing, Concentration, Flowing movements, Alignment, Co-ordination and Stamina.

Pilates lengthens the body, working on deep postural muscles through slow controlled exercises.

Pilates / Where
Pilates is usually held in our light and temperature controlled Dance Studio with magnificent views over Earlham Park or in one of our other suitable rooms.

Beginner courses

Suitable for people with little or no experience. Very safe for those with back problems

Intermediate courses

Ideal for people who have completed a beginner course or who have practiced Pilates elsewhere before.

New ‘On the Ball’ classes for those with Pilates experience – come and try a new variation.



Pilates / When
Both beginner and intermediate classes are available in the afternoon and in the evenings. On the Ball classes are only available in the evening. Beginners class available during the day – for present courses available see Activity Courses.

Step 2 – Choose a course
Step 3 – Fill in a Booking Form, hand it in to Reception or post it back to us and await confirmation of your place!

Pilates / Costs
6 week course £40.00. People must be sportscard holders to join a course.
