Sportspark awarded “Best Sports Venue or Provider’ in Primary Times Reader Star Awards 2015
Sportspark was awarded “Best Sports Venue or Provider’ in the recent Primary Times Reader Star Awards 2015.
This fantastic accolade was awarded to Sportspark after Primary Times’ readers voted for their favourite local family friendly places.
The Primary Times Reader Star Award survey was featured in the Back to School issue of the magazine and 40,000 copies were distributed to 198 primary and middle schools across Norfolk. School children then take this publication home to their parents/guardians. In addition, many families cast online nominations via the Primary Times website.
Phil Steele Director of Sport, UEA, commented: “We are delighted to have won “Best Sports Venue or Provider’ in the Primary Times Reader Star Awards 2015. Nominated by parents throughout Norfolk, this accolade recognises the excellent family-friendly facilities and activity programmes that we have on offer at Sportspark. As a community facility, we welcome everyone, and offer a myriad of programmes for both pre-school and school-aged children. These include our school holiday multi-activity Sportscamps, 6 week courses in archery, climbing, squash and Fit Kidz, family splash pool sessions, structured beginner and improver gymnastics programmes, drop-in teen gymnastics programme, children’s party packages, family/junior badminton sessions and more”.
