About the Fitness centre

Sportspark’s Fitness Centre is a newly refurbished, state-of-the-art facility with over 130 stations and the latest equipment for strength, conditioning, and functional training. Our ground-floor gym features new machines, flooring, and visual graphics showcasing local athletes, creating a motivating and dynamic environment.

To help you get the most from your workouts, all new users complete a gym induction, available throughout the day. Gold and Silver members receive their induction for free, and it can include a personalised workout programme tailored to your goals.

For extra support, you can book one-to-one or small group personal training sessions with our highly qualified and experienced Fitness Professionals. The Fitness Centre also includes a Functional Studio for private sessions and a Dance Studio with views over Earlham Park, adding variety and space for your training needs.

There’s no need to be a member, anyone can use Sportspark Fitness Centre (once they have completed their induction). Non-members pay the Pay & Play price listed below.

Gold Members can use the Fitness Centre for free at any time and Silvers Members can use the Fitness Centre for free during off-peak times. Bronze members pay the member/concessionary price.

Peak times: 16:00-20:30 hours, Monday – Friday

Off-peak times: All other times, including weekends.

Fitness Courses

Our fitness courses run regularly throughout the year, giving you the chance to develop new skills and improve your fitness over a number of weeks. From boxing and strength training to Qigong and beyond, each course is designed to provide extra support, guidance, and motivation in a fun, welcoming environment. Check back regularly as we add new courses throughout the year.

Sportspark’s Personal Training sessions have the ability to increase the effectiveness of your workouts with numerous benefits:

Fitness Assessments

In order to decide on your direction, you need to know your starting point….

Whether you want to track your body fat percentage, keep check on your blood pressure and cholesterol, or need to evaluate your strength and flexibility, our new Fitness Assessment packages can help you do just that. Starting from as little at £10 they offer great value.

To help inspire your fitness goals this year, we’ll be providing monthly workouts designed by our team of personal trainers. A full body workout as well as two specialist area workouts.

FITNESS CLUB

The Fitness Club is a great value six week programme of exercise and nutrition coaching, aimed at helping our customers towards their personal exercise goals, while making sense of diet and nutrition. Whatever your goals: weight loss, toning, muscle gaining, athletic performance, or just wanting to feel more confident in the gym, the Sportspark Fitness Club is here to help you.

What you get:

  • Consultation with weigh-in and body composition

  • Bespoke diet and nutrition advice based upon your personal goals and lifestyle

  • Six personal training sessions

  • Weekly check in by email

  • Success session (a final session with a weigh-in, body composition, and full exercise programme to use in the future)

Cost: £120

Fit Kidz: Gym Use for Under 16

We’re passionate about helping children develop an interest in fitness from a young age. Our Fit Kidz courses give children aged 10–15 the skills and confidence to use the Fitness Centre safely and independently.

  • Duration: 2-day course

  • Ages: 10–15 years

  • Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays: 10:30 – 12:30 | Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 10:30 – 12:30 (during school holidays)

During each session, our Fitness Advisors guide participants through a structured programme, teaching them how to use a range of gym equipment safely and confidently.

Graduation and Gym Access

  • Children receive a Graduate Registration Form in session one, to be completed by a parent or carer and returned in session two.

  • Upon successful completion, graduates can use the Fitness Centre during these times:

    • Weekends: 10:00 – 18:00

    • School holidays: 10:00 – 16:00

    • Weekdays (term time): 17:00 – 20:00

Graduates can use the equipment they were trained on. Sessions are not directly supervised, but staff are always available for assistance.

Important: Children 10–11 years must be accompanied by a paying adult. Graduation is only granted if both sessions are attended and the Fitness Advisors deem the child safe to use equipment unsupervised.


Youth Membership

Children aged 12–15 can apply for a Youth Membership after graduating from Fit Kidz. Please note there is currently a waiting list. Submit your child’s details via the waiting list form, and our team will contact you when spaces become available.
