As a leading service provider, we’ll strive to raise standards of coaching and physical activity in Norfolk. Through the on-going collaboration of the expert stakeholders (UEA, Sportspark and Active Norfolk), the aim of the PROgress Sport Services will be to provide high quality specialist sport services within education and the community, raising aspirations and attainment in both Sport and Physical Education. We’ll drive performance through our professional, quality-assured workforce, who receives on-going industry-leading training and development.
Quality coaching enhances health and well-being, promotes fair-play and builds social cohesion and self-esteem. Throughout the UK, great coaches help develop leadership and teamwork, they transform organisations, change individual behaviour and improve quality of life.
Organisations such as schools wishing to deploy coaches often have little experience of safe recruitment in sport. They may have little understanding of National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications, unsure of the value and validity of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and possibly no experience of what a ‘high quality’ coaching or physical activity session looks like.
PROgress are not looking to emulate business from other providers, we simply work on a recommended basis. We aim to grow the business at a steady rate, which by remaining small means we are able to offer a bespoke service to all of our customers. We appreciate that schools and clubs have their own individuals needs and we will try our best to source exactly what you need!
