Our UEA student memberships continue to provide exceptional value for money, with a range of payment options to suit your budget.

All student memberships are 12-month contracts. You can choose to pay in full or by monthly instalments, but please note that memberships cannot be cancelled before the end of the 12-month contract period.

Our memberships include the largest number of benefits we have ever provided, and our Student Gold membership now includes peak-time group exercise for the first time in our history.

As part of the BUCS UNIversal scheme, your Sportspark membership also provides access to almost 100 sports facilities across the country at no additional cost.

Payment options

Choose to either to pay in full at the start of the year for the lowest fees possible or spread the total cost over eight instalments via automated DD collections. Instalment arrangements require an initial £50 payment in addition to either one or two monthly payments (dependent on join date). The remaining fees due will be collected over the subsequent 6 or 7 months. All instalment payments must be made via direct debit with collections made on the first working day of each month. *

Peak times = Monday to Friday 16:00 - 20:30

Off-peak times = All other times including weekends

All student memberships must be purchased in person at either our Reception Desk or Memberships Office.

If you plan to use the gym, our Reception team can also book you onto a gym induction when you sign up. A gym induction is required before you can access the gym.

Once your membership is active, you can start using our swimming pool, athletics track and group exercise classes straight away. Before you visit, please check our facility opening times and class timetables to plan your session.

You will need your University Campus Card with you on each visit in order to gain entrance through our turnstiles.

Please remember that although these cards will allow entry into Sportspark at any time they will only allow access to activity spaces at the times included in your chosen membership option.

Simply swipe the short barcode on the reverse of your campus card within the sportspark to access your inclusive facilities.

BUCS UNIversal

• Normal entry fee will be charged if the card is not produced.

• The card is not transferable and its use by any person other than the holder will result in its cancellation without refund.

• The discounted rates can only be obtained on production of the card at the time of booking and payment.

• The card holder must be a participant in any booking made at the discounted rate.

• Refunds will not be given for unused periods of membership.

• The Educational Sportscard, or any of the upgraded membership options are valid for 12 months from the processing date of the application (unless confirmed otherwise).

• Instalment arrangements require an additional payment at point of sale followed by either 6 or 7 further consecutive payments (dependant on join date). All instalment payments must be made via direct debit with collections made on the first working day of each month.

• It is the member's responsibility to ensure the Direct Debit information is provided accurately (via the relevant means in place at the time of joining).

• Sportspark retains the right to apply administrative charges for any defaulted payments to the value of £25 per failed collection (unless debt is received within 30 days).

• There is no option to adjust payment dates. By taking the instalment option you agree to commit to the full membership term of 12 months

• Any defaulted payments will be collected as debt. Non-payment will result in refusal of admittance to all Sportspark facilities and will be communicated to the relevant University School.

• BUCS UNIversal access is dependant on any restrictions in place via the host establishment. Sportspark will not be held liable for any restrictions in place in those locations.

• The Sportspark car park is prohibited at all times for UEA students and staff - even if they are using Sportspark facilities.
