Racket Hire – Rackets are available for hire from reception at a cost of £2.00. (£10 deposit for rackets – or by leaving your Gold/Silver or Bronze Sportscard at reception).
Racket Re-stringing – Racket Re-stringing is available when dropping your racket off at reception. The process does take a few days to complete and you pick your racket up again from reception. Visit reception for prices.
Squash is much more flexible than some other sports with a timetable. Our private lessons, leagues and court bookings run on your own availability. Full details are underneath the table on this page.
Opening Hours – Courts are bookable from 07:00 – 21:40. Court hire is available in 40 minute blocks.
Squash Social Evening – Our Squash social evening is every Friday night at 19:00 and a great way to see if you would like to join a league or just come along for a friendly match! Hosted by our very own David Youngs!
David Youngs is a hugely knowledgeable, encouraging and talented England Squash Level 2 Club and County Coach with over 30 years of experience. David’s own playing achievements include 6 times Norfolk Champion and over 50 caps for England Masters Teams. An accomplished sportsman and rackets player his talent has also, more recently, included a number of achievements in Pickleball including being the four times Over 50s British Open Singles Pickleball Champion as well as the 2023 European Over 50s Pickleball Champion.
David can assist all squash players, no matter their age, ability or experience. Whether you are yet to hold a racket or play at a county or national level, David will tailor his approach to suit you and your personal goals.
David can also often be found on various courts across Sportspark but most often within the squash courts themselves or enjoying a post-match coffee with other players!

Ada Brown, who has been coached in squash at Sportspark for the past two years, has achieved phenomenal success, becoming the current British Under 11s No.1 British Champion. Squash League – Our Squash leagues have been running for a number of years and allows matches to be arranged when suitable between your next fixture and yourselves. All results can be found on the Squash noticeboard outside the courts. You can join the Squash leagues by emailing Sportspark.squashleagues@uea.ac.uk.
If you want to play regular squash with others of a similar standard, why not join one of our friendly singles leagues.
