Norwich has never been so active since the arrival of Sportspark. There's so much to do from a leisurely swim to an archery taster day and we've got all the latest facilities.

Open to Everyone
The Sportspark is open to everyone - not just the people at the University of East Anglia. You don't need a membership to use the Sportspark - you just turn up and Pay as you Go when you feel like it. However there ar some great Sportscard packages with extra benefits and discounts for those of you who just can't keep away!

Events This Week Sportspark hosts regular small and large scale sports events throughout the year.

Monday 5th May. ASA swimming gala. Whole pool closed all day for regional championships. The pool will be open for public swimming in 50m mode from 1900 to close.

Tuesday 6th May. Norfolk County 5Ives tournament starts on 3G Soccerpark. 7 to 10pm.

Saturday 10th May. Norfolk AAA track and field event on the athletics track. 10 to 6pm.

Starlight Walk 2008
Friday 20th June 2008 Step out in the starlight - the Starlight Walk is exactly what it says it is. It's a walk at night, under the stars. Participants walk 13 miles around the Outer Ring road in Norwich. Its not a race. Its definately just a walk and its a chance to enjoy the company of friends and other walkers as you raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care. Last year the starlight walk raised over £50,000, which was an incredible effort by all involved. This year 'men' have also been invited to take part. Men and women will walk in opposite directions around the ring road. If you don't fancy walking 13 miles you can enter an alternative walk we'll be running on the same night. Its a 6 mile walk around the athletics track at the Sportspark. For more details


County 5ives Football Tournament
Sportspark has teamed up with the Norfolk FA to provide County 5Ives tournaments on our exclusive 3rd Generation pitches. More details.


Become a Sportscard holder
Following our recent customer survey we have increased the benefits for Sportscard holders. Gold/silver cardholders can have free Gym inductions. Silver cardholders can now have unlimited Off Peak Gym use and anytime Pool use. The standard Sportscard becomes the Bronze card. Cardholders can use their new style cards to get 10% off purchases at Pilch's the top sports and outdoor store in Norwich and to get 10% off physiotherapy treatment at Spire Hospital, Colney, formerly BUPA. If you still have an old style card please change it at reception. Save money every time you use the Sportspark with a Sportscard. Work Starts On Additional Sportshall
Construction has started on a new £3.8 million extension to the Sportspark, funded by the University, with completion due in February 2009

Do You Want To Become A Lifeguard???
Sportspark is hosting a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification for people to become lifeguard qualified. The course is running on the following dates (0900 to 1700):- Thursday 24th July Friday 25th July Monday 28th July Tuesday 29th July Wednesday 30th July Thursday 31st July Assessment Thursday 31st July Course cost is £200

Ladies - have a go at Jogging!!!
Sportspark has started a new ladies jogging club on Wednesdays at 1pm. The club runs every Wednesday for ladies who have the ability to jog recreationally already, however there are specific dates that we will focus on complete beginners
