Open to Everyone
The Sportspark is open to everyone - not just the people at the University of East Anglia. You don't need a membership to use the Sportspark - you just turn up and Pay as you Go when you feel like it. However there ar some great Sportscard packages with extra benefits and discounts for those of you who just can't keep away!

Swimming Pool re-opens The Sportspark swimming pool re-opens today after undergoing additional repair work. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during the closure period.

Fitness In Later Life Open Day
On Tuesday 2nd September, Sportspark in conjunction with Norwich City Council and Broadland District Council are holding an open day to promote the physical activities that are available to people over the age of 45 years in the daytime across the County. For more details


Events This Week
Sportspark hosts regular small and large scale sports events throughout the year. Tuesday 2nd September. FILL/Re-energise open day. 0900 to 1300. £3.00 per person. Promotion of daytime activities across the county for people aged 45 years plus. Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September. Badminton bonanza tournament. Main arena. All day. Sunday 7th September. Squash tournament. 0820 to 2140. Events


Become a Sportscard holder
Following our recent customer survey we have increased the benefits for Sportscard holders. Gold/silver cardholders can have free Gym inductions. Silver cardholders can now have unlimited Off Peak Gym use and anytime Pool use. The standard Sportscard becomes the Bronze card. Cardholders can use their new style cards to get 10% off purchases at Pilch's the top sports and outdoor store in Norwich and to get 10% off physiotherapy treatment at Spire Hospital, Colney, formerly BUPA. If you still have an old style card please change it at reception. Save money every time you use the Sportspark with a Sportscard. Remember we don't ask you to sign long term contracts or pay joining fees at the Sportspark Find out more.

Norfolk FA County 5Ives
County 5IVES – One Space available Due to the overwhelming success of the first County 5IVES League at UEA sportspark, a third division has been added to the Centre which runs on Tuesday evenings from 7pm, starting Tuesday 9 September 2008. The 8 team division plays over 14 weeks with each team playing one 40 minute fixture per match evening

New Activity and Facility Hire Costs
As of 1st September, Sportspark are introducing some price changes across the centre. We have endeavoured to keep these changes to a minimum, and have ensured the monthly costs for a Sportscard, Silver card and Gold card remain the same

Sportspark Rackets Weekend
Sportspark has organised a weekend of Racket tournaments (Squash and Badminton). Both tournaments are competed for separately, but they both take place on the weekend of 6th and 7th September

Bluebell Road entrance to UEA closed
A new roundabout is being constructed at the Bluebell Road entrance to the University. Entry into the UEA will only be from University Drive from Monday June 9th for three months
