Sportspark offers a 125 station state-of-the art Fitness Centre/Gym, Personal Training sessions led by highly qualified and experienced Fitness Professionals and a timetable of over 60 group exercise classes to suit all abilities including Zumba, Pilates, Indoor Cycle, Circuits, Yoga and many Les Mills’ classes including BodyPumpTM and BodyBalanceTM. To ensure you get the most out of the Fitness Centre, new users need to book an induction. Inductions are available every day. If you are a Gold or Silver member your induction is free! Our staff can prepare you with an individual workout programme to meet your needs. If you find it difficult to keep motivated and need extra support, why not book a one-to-one or small group session with a personal trainer.

GYM PRICES

There’s no need to be a member, anyone can use Sportspark Fitness Centre (once they have received their induction). Non-members simply pay the Pay & Play price listed in our current price list.

Gold Members can use the Fitness Centre for free at any time and Silvers Members can use the Fitness Centre for free during off-peak times. Bronze members pay the members/concessionary price.

Peak times: 16:00-20:30 hours, Monday – Friday
Off-peak times: All other times, including weekends.

Beginners Boxing 6 week course

Week commencing Saturday 7th May at 14:15 in the Functional Studio

Do you want to learn how to box or just get fit but don’t enjoy weightlifting and find yourself avoiding cardio? Give our new 6 week beginners boxing course with personal trainer, Tyree a try!

£36 for members and £39.60 for non-members.

Intermediate Boxing 6 week course

Week commencing Saturday 7th May at 15:15 in the Functional Studio

This intermediate 6 week course, with personal Trainer Tyree, leads on from the fundamentals of the beginners boxing course going into more depth whist keeping it fun, cardiovascular and interactive.

£36 for members and £39.60 for non-members.

Advance Boxing 6 week course

Week commencing Saturday 7th May at 16:15 in the Functional Studio

Already have the basic fundamentals of boxing but feel you need to sharpen your skills, work on technique or condition your body? Give our new 6 week Advanced Boxing Course with personal trainer, Tyree, a try!

Beginner Handstand Workshop 

Starting Sunday 8th May 12:30 – 14:00, every four weeks.

Learn how to trust yourself better this year by facing your fears and going upside down. Create inner space whilst quieting the mind within, through determination and will power.

Handstands will help you face your fears by setting the mind, being present in the moment and believing in yourself.

We often have distracted minds, allowing thoughts to take us away from the moment. Believing that our lives, or we, will be better in another place or time. Handstanding teaches how to focus on the here and now, to continue to grow by challenging yourself through your practice each day. Truly teleport yourself to the present and remain there through focus and willpower and find the balance between ease and effort.

£10 for members and £15 for non-members.

Fitness Assessments
In order to decide on your direction, you need to know your starting point….

Whether you want to track your body fat percentage, keep check on your blood pressure and cholesterol, or need to evaluate your strength and flexibility, our new Fitness Assessment packages can help you do just that. Starting from as little at £10 they offer great value.

Fit Kidz

We welcome all ages and abilities into our Fitness Centre and we are passionate about encouraging users to become interested in fitness from a young age. To help this, we offer Fit Kidz courses where, once completed, children can use the gym too.

Fit Kidz courses run for 6 weeks and the sessions take place each Sunday between 11:00 -12:00 0r 16:00-17:00. The course can take a maximum of 6 children, aged between 10-15 years old. Each week one of our Fitness Advisors will follow a special programme to ensure that your child is fully inducted into a range of the equipment available in the Fitness Centre.

In order to graduate, during ‘Week 5’ your child will be issued with a ‘Graduate Registration Form’ which should be completed by you and returned to the Fitness Centre during ‘Week 6’ session. This form will be processed and your child will have access to the Fitness Centre during graduate times, which are Saturdays and Sundays 10.00-18.00 and 10:00-16:00 during school holidays. During graduate sessions, your child will be free to use any of the equipment that they have been shown by the Fitness Advisors. The session is not directly supervised, however there will always be a member of staff within the Fitness Centre should your child need assistance.

Please note that children will only graduate form the course if they have attended at least 5 of the 6 sessions and if the Fitness Advisors deem them safe enough to use the equipment unsupervised.
